About us:
We are a Cuban American and American operated business created to help the Citizens of Cuba get the necessary, vital products that they need, in the easiest and most cost-effective means possible.
We are not affiliated with the Cuban Government nor any Government owned businesses.
We only provide products to the Citizens of Cuba, purchased by their friends and family in the U.S. We then deliver these boxes to the homes of the recipients everywhere on the Island of Cuba.
All boxes are trackable from Miami until they reach their designated recipient in Cuba.
All Shipping Fees, Port Fees, Customs Paperwork, Port Tariffs, and Home Delivery Fees are Included in the Price stated with each product.
The only fee not included is a delivery tax charged by the Cuban Government which must be paid in Cuban Pesos at the time of delivery.
This tax averages about $1.00, One American Dollar for most boxes. Larger items slightly more.
We would include this tax in our prices but legally we are not allowed.
The delivery person collects this Cuban Delivery Tax at the time of delivery and then turns it over to the Cuban Government, as stipulated in the Cuban Customs Paperwork.
Processing of your orders and delivery of the products to our shipping company in Miami usually takes 3-5 days.
At that point, the Processing, Shipping and Cuba Home Delivery times vary greatly. Some boxes have arrived in 2 weeks, and some arrive in 4-8 weeks. Some longer. The delivery times are largely out of our control due to many factors, U.S. Customs processing delays, Port of Mariel delays with Cuban Customs Regulations, electrical outages, labor issues in Ciba. location on the Island of the delivery, etc.
Regardless of the delivery time length, the delivery process is trackable until the packages arrive to their designated recipient in Cuba.
Once the packages go through U.S. Customs and are processed for shipping to Cuba, we will provide you with the Tracking Information so that you can track the packages until they arrive to their designated recipient in Cuba.
Unlike in the U.S., deliveries in Cuba must be delivered in person to the designated recipient, who must show identification. If the designated recipient is not available at the time of delivery; their items will be held at a facility near their home for pick-up.
Boxes over 100 pounds must be picked up at our shipping facility near the Port of Mariel, Cuba.
We can assist to arrange for special home delivery, if desired.
Most of our products are under 100 pounds. If a product is over 100 pounds there will be clear communications about pic-up or delivery options with the product description
We use Authorize.net, A VISA Solution, as our Payment Gateway. They have over 440,000 Merchant Accounts and process over 1 Billion in payments annually. Authorize.net is PCI DSS compliant. They validate their compliance annually.
Authorize.net implements robust security measures, including encryption and access controls, to protect sensitive customer information and ensure compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.
Authorize.net has extensive, adjustable, Fraud Filters. We have implemented very strict parameters. We are currently reviewing all transactions for final approval or denial.
We are also enabling reCAPTCHA fraud protection.
We are using Bank of America, for our Merchant Account and Corporate Account. They also enable extensive fraud prevention filters with information encrypted.
We must follow extensive, specific, Cuban Government requirements, in order to deliver products to homes, everywhere in Cuba. As cumbersome as it is; this exhaustive, time-consuming process, helps to eliminate fraud.
The person receiving the boxes in Cuba, must receive them in person and show their ID. They don’t just leave them at the door, like in the U.S... If the recipient is not home at the time of delivery, the boxes will be taken to a facility, as close to their home as possible, for pick-up.
All of these steps are trackable, until the recipient picks up the boxes, or, is hopefully home when they deliver them. This reduces fraud. Even though they have the recipient’s telephone number; they don’t call to say when they are arriving. They just show up with the boxes. No advanced fanfare.
The Cuban Government requires that the recipient of the boxes pay a small tax, per box, which must be paid in Cuban Pesos at the time that the boxes are transferred. The delivery company then transfers this tax to the Cuban Government. It is roughly $1.00, one American dollar, per box. Larger items are slightly more.
We would include this in our prices, but legally we are not permitted to.
Our prices include: the Cost of the Items, all Shipping Fees, Port Fees, Customs Paperwork, Tariffs and Trackable, Home Delivery fees.
We have worked very hard to present only excellent products, by known companies, with high approval ratings, at the best prices possible, given the extremely challenging situation of home delivery, to everywhere in Cuba.
This is very much a humanitarian effort. We are keeping costs as low as possible for guaranteed, trackable home delivery of greatly needed basic essential everywhere on the Island of Cuba.
Given the uniquely, difficult, time consuming, expensive, multi-governmentally regulated reality. It is impossible to refund and return purchases. The amount of time that it takes to get products to and back from Cuba, far outsees our distributors return time limit.
The expensive part of shipping products to Cuba, is not just the products, it’s all of the expenses and regulations that go with it. Returns pose an additional, complex, costly, highly multi-governmentally sanctioned, set of rules and guidelines that can not be met. We would like too, it’s just not possible.
Therefore, given the unique situation of shipping to a Communist Country; Refunds and Returns are not possible. Sorry, there is nothing that we can do to change that.
Given this unique situation, we cannot accept chargebacks, on any orders.
All orders and deliveries are final. Once the boxes are delivered and received by the designated recipient in Cuba; we are no longer connected to the delivery.
Refunds, Returns, Chargebacks, are not possible due to this unique situation.
We would love to accommodate your friends and family with needed essential, at as an affordable price as possible, with trackable delivery.
However, once the boxes are received by the designated recipient, they cannot be returned, refunded or charge backed. The transaction is complete and final.
